Bob Pulford 1961 – 62

This is one sweet body cover. Littered with material backed repairs, most likely from other wool Leafs jerseys, it shows the wounds from a full season in the NHL. No doubt Mr. Pulford dropped the mitts a few times while wearing this beauty. This may have been worn in the 1960 playoffs and then for the full 60-61 season, or playoffs 61 and the full 61-62 season. The two eyelet’s and the slimmer Leaf crest, point to those two years only.  The Leafs usually wore the coming seasons new jerseys, the year prior in the playoffs. This was not a common practise for most teams at that time.
