Bobby Orr 1966 – 1967
Simply put, Bobby Orr changed the game of hockey when he broke into the league In 1966. His style of play made him an instant fan favorite in Boston and all over the NHL world. This stick was used by Orr during his rookie season. You can see areas on the front and back of the blade where Orr shaved the blade down, back and front, to get rid of the fiberglass tape and to get a better feel for the puck. The corn roll tape job lasted for a few seasons then he went to the ribbed type handle that went longer down the shaft.
