Pete Incaviglia 1986

Pete Incaviglia Rookie season game used bat from 1986. Pete wore number 5 and 29 in his first season with the Texas Rangers after being drafted in the first round out of Oklahoma State. You can notice in the cup end of the bat, Pete’s 29 has been lightly written over with number 32 in silver paint pen. This bat was first used by Pete, then given to Gary Ward, who wore number 32 in 1985 and 1986 for the Rangers. No one wears 32 in 1987, making this one a true rookie bat of the most prolific home run hitter in NCAA history. Pete had his most home runs of any season in the majors, smashing 30 long balls during that rookie season. Peppered with use on both sides of the barrel, it has many seam and ball marks as well as blue marks from the blue printing on American league baseballs.
