This Borg Allwood Match Used Racquet weighs 404 grams. It’s a really nice one from the Bergelin Collection. Showing awesome use on the strings as well as the whole Racquet. In the picture below of Borg and Sergio Garcia, you can see the way Borg and Bergelin put Racquets away. They would cut the strings to prevent the Racquet from warping due to the high tension Borg had his strung. This was at an event where athletes did an equipment exchange. Borg got a golf club of course! It is also the exact same style as the one in this post.
Notice the BB done in large Dymo tape labelling on the neck of the racquet. Very neat detail seen in photos of him using these type Donnay Allwood Racquets. Nice autograph on the grip as well to compliment this incredible piece of history.
This Racquet comes with a signed letter right from Borg himself attesting to its time of use and that Niclas Bergelin discovered this one at his parents home in Sweden.
