Really sweet jersey used by legendary Defensman for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Borje Salming. This was the first set of jerseys after the passing of King Clancy as it has the Kings memorial patch affixed the the left shoulder. The positioning of the patch changed for star players in the second half to give more space between the arm numbers and Leafs patch. The photo below shows the second half jersey style. I'm still looking for a first half photo to match this one up. It shows nice wear and pilling inside the sleeves which is a common Salming jersey trait. The date tagging remains in the neck stating 86 01 for January 1986 date of manufacture. This would have been made for the start of the 1986-87 season. New photo match added from the Hockey Hall of Fame. Notice the Clancy patch in a different position as the second half jersey also pictured.
