Really nice and rare Don Saleski game used Jersey from the 1977 1978 season for the Philadelphia Flyers. It carries the Barry Ashbee patch to commemorate the passing of their teammate earlier in the year. Photo matched to several loose threads on both side arm numbers, the jersey shows nice wear and has a detail I had not seen in over 50 years of collecting. It is reenforced down both sides of the neck and down through the nameplate. I have seen fight straps done in this fashion but never anything like this. Saleski was one of a few enforcers on the broad street bullies at the time so this ensured his name plate would not be torn to shreds when he dropped his gloves.
