Hammered bat wielded by the Big Hurt during the 1996 campaign for the Chicago White Sox. Frank Thomas smashed many a Rawlings sphere with this Adirondack bat. Signed perfectly by the big man himself on the barrel, this bat shows amazing use with no cracks. It has a tiny grain lift at the last grain of the bat on the barrel. This one has the cool knob markings that some of his bats have. In trying to read them it seems to be K279 stamped in the knob. This pearl came right out of the Blue Jays clubhouse from an employee of the Jays.
Frank Thomas was elected to the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 2014. He amassed 2,468 hits, 521 Home Runs, 1,704 Runs batted in and won 2 American League MVPs to go along with 4 Silver Slugger awards. His 301 Lifetime batting average is just a the icing on the cake for the big man.
