Gary Nylund’s game used jersey from 1984 - 1985. Shows really nice wear with many repairs from sticks and brawls. This one was probably used for more than half the season, if not all. You can see a couple neat material backed repairs which you don't often see on Leaf jerseys. I’m not sure what size the jersey is as the tagging is long since gone, but it’s huge.
I met Gary in 1982 when I was 14 at North York Centennial Arena in North York Ontario. The club practised there when Maple Leaf Gardens was being used. I lived across the street and when I saw the Leafs van pull up, I knew i was getting some sticks either after school or, sometimes during ;). I asked him for a stick and he gave me a really sweet Koho, which I will also post. Really nice guy who always had time for the kids around the rink, a true gentleman.
