Hartland Monahan was one of the coolest NHL names growing up in the seventies. I remember hearing it on TV and thinking that exact thing. This is his game used jersey from his last two NHL seasons spent with the Blues. It has a nice repair and shows nice game use with sweat stains and pilling and all identifiers showing nice abuse. These nice heavy durene cotton jerseys are always nice to have as the just have that old hockey feel to them. Double fight strap is a nice treat to see inside the back under the numbers as everyone back in those days had to drop the mitts here and there.
Hartland is from Montreal and had suited up for the California Golden Seals, New York Rangers, Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings and finished off his 8 year NHL career with the St.louis Blues.
