This sweet and rare Jesse Barfield game worn Toronto Blue Jays 1986 jersey, comes right from the man himself. He was wearing this very jersey when he swatted his league leading 40th home run of the season. He went on to win the home run title becoming the first Toronto Blue Jay to do so. Jesse was always a nice guy around Exhibiton Stadium in Toronto. The fans just loved him as he was very generous with his time and signed autographs for the kids all the time.
Barfield spent 12 seasons in the Major League Baseball, 9 with the Blue Jays and 3 more with the New York Yankees. He collected 241 home runs and 716 runs batted in for a nice career indeed. Super nicer guy who continues to be as all of the Blue Jays were in those days.
