Very nice gamer here from long time Toronto Maple Leaf and Hall of Famer, Lanny Mcdoanld. This rare Batman crest logo that the Leafs only wore for a short time during the 1979 playoffs and the start of the 79 - 80 season, are always nice to have in the the collection. Easily discernible from other Leafs jersey of the era making them easier to photo match as this one is. The photos, directly from long time Leafs photographer, Graig Abel, shows the logo and also the black marks or dots around the crest. Several other matches are from earlier in the 79 season and is yet to acquire those markings. Nice repairs on the lower front and both arms showing the scars of battle during the old time proper NHL. Several more photo matches to follow.
Lanny played for the Maple Leafs, Colorado Rockies, and the Calgary Flames. Mcdonald finally won a Stanley Cup while with the Flames in 1989 and took the Cup to his home of Alberta. He ended his Hall Of Fame career after the 1989 Stanley Cup win after tallying 500 goals and 506 assists. he was inducted to the Hall Of Fame in 1992.
