Vernon Wells Toronto Blue Jays 2003 Game Used Jersey

Vernon Wells gamer here acquired directly from the Blue Jays. Shows nice use with the game used mark of the Jays equipment manager on the tagging. The arm patch with the Blue Jays birdie tossing up the ball is very cool on these jerseys.

Vernon Wells was born in Shreveport Louisiana and was drafted out of James Bowie High school in Arlington Texas in 1997. He made his major league debut on August 30, 1999 with the Toronto Blue Jays.  He went on to play for the Jays for 11 seasons racking up 3 All Star appearances but 2003 was his best season ever. He led the league in hits with 215 and doubles with 49 and had an unreal 735 at bats, also leading the league. That season was his first all star game and after these stats, it's no wonder as he also hit .317 while leading the American League with 373 total bases.

Wells was a big leaguer for 14 seasons, finishing his career after 2 seasons with the California Angels and his final games with the New York Yankees in 2013.

Thanks for having a look and enjoy your day.
