Wayne Gretzky 1990 All Star

This sweet looking sweater was worn by the Great One at the 1990 All Star Game held In Pittsburgh. In speaking with the NHL offices David Keon Jr. who attends most of the All Star games, Gretzky and all other players wore 3 jersey, one for each period. This one was used for the warm up and first period of the contest. The players would come off from each period, sign the jersey and then taken by one, the NHLPA, two the NHL and one the player kept. This one was the one Wayne Kept and gave to someone special after the game. The other two I have seen from this game,  had letters from the NHL and the NHLPA respectively. This one also has the velcro swatch In the right hem. I believe now they have four jerseys with one being a photo shoot sweater.
